FAQs

  • We’re known for hearty Western-style cooking – think steaks, burgers, brisket and a few house favorites, like our bison burgers. We’ve also got a solid lineup of lighter fare and local touches. It’s good grub done right. 

  • We’re first come, first served. Things can get busy, especially in the summer, so come early if you’ve got a group. We’ll do our best to seat you quick. 

  • We are open every day, even in the dead cold of North Dakota winters. Check our website or social channels for the music lineup.

  • Absolutely. In fact, the second-level deck at the Little Missouri Saloon was voted in the top 10 outdoor dining experiences to take in while in North Dakota. Nothing like a cold drink and a Dakota sunset. 

  • There sure is. Full service with cold beer, classic cocktails and a few local pours. Pull up a stool or grab a table – whatever suits you.

  • There has been live music onstage during the summer every weekend for the last 40 years, and an album was even cut here in the 1970s. Check out our upcoming events or follow us on Facebook for the latest schedule.

  • Yes sir. We’ve got a kids menu, high chairs and plenty of space for the whole crew. 

  • We do, depending on how busy the kitchen is. Call ahead to see what the wait time looks like.

  • We are the oldest saloon and steakhouse in Medora and one of the oldest in the state, serving up food and drinks to ranchers, road-trippers and locals alike. We’ve kept a bit of the Old West charm, but the focus is always on good hospitality.

  • Parking is available just in front of the saloon. There is also street parking around the saloon, and there's a public lot nearby. Medora’s a walkable town, so you won’t be far off.
